BIO
I began studying the piano and singing about the age of seven.  My love for music and teaching was cultured in various ways growing up and I found the perfect way to combine these two passions when I began teaching music in 1998.  In 2003 I formed a group with my music-loving sisters, and we played and sang for weddings, community events, businesses and churches while operating a very successful joint music studio.  I was also a member of the Campbellsville University Symphonic Orchestra for 8½ years.

My favorite music teaching experience was volunteer work in Calle Blancos, Costa Rica, where I taught intensive-styled college classes on music theory and choral techniques, lecturing in Spanish and using Latin American Music Theory.

I regularly perform music at my church as part of the worship team, singing, playing keyboards and flute, plus arranging music.  My combined teaching experiences have been varied, but I have spent the past 15 years sharing my love and passion for music with students of all ages and abilities in Kentucky, Mexico, Costa Rica and now Washington, and loving every minute of it!  Come join in on the fun at Occasional Pianos Music Studio.
